Glycerides of short-chain fatty acids are mainly active against Gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli and Salmonella spp. Gram-negative bacteria are mainly affected by interference and destruction of genetic material. This will affect normal cell division and bacterial growth. Above that, the organic acids acidify the Gastro-Intestinal Tract (GIT) of young animals, improving protein digestion, thereby reducing digestive stress.

Usage

  • Dosage depends on pH of drinking water. After addition of the product, the drinking water should have a pH of 4. Indication of dosage: 1-2 L per 1000 L drinking water
  • It is recommended to clean your system with FRA Aqua-Care before using FRA Hydro pH.
  • Stop dosing FRA Hydro pH 12 hours prior to vaccination via drinking water.
